6Street Digital assisted Accenture on Coca-Cola’s MyCoke B2B eCommerce project. The project goal was to develop a B2B site - MyCoke.com - that would apply Coca-Cola’s business customers to do self-service order management for their business. The integration consisted of Salesforce Community Cloud and CloudCraze eCommerce as well as Sales Cloud. Custom development and integration had to be performed with backend services outside of the Salesforce platform.

6Street Digital implemented Symantec's eCommerce platform that utilizes CloudCraze on Salesforce. Phase one of the project was converting the Symantec website for their Endpoint Protection Cloud product. After getting phase one complete, it was handed over to Symantec to finish additional phases to move their other products to Salesforce/CloudCraze. The implementation consisted of integrating Salesforce Community Cloud and CloudCraze eCommerce. This was a very customized project utilizing custom code to override templates and extend mini-cart to have custom functionality.

Seeking to provide a B2B Commerce portal to their suppliers for North America, Avery Dennison partnered with 6Street to help accelerate their team to build out the implementation. Their goal was to reduce the amount of work on both their sales and service reps in which they were spending with suppliers to fulfill their needs. Creating a successful implementation on Salesforce B2B Commerce allows suppliers to order and reorder the products that Avery Dennison provides.

The project had some unique technical challenges such as Avery Dennison's specialized requirements to handle complex customer account hierarchies. In typical B2B Commerce implementations, there can be a parent account that can order not only for themselves but also for child accounts. This feature in B2B Commerce is known as "Effective Accounts" and is quite common in the B2B Commerce world. While Avery Dennison's unique way of managing this standard parent/child account hierarchy didn't fall into what Salesforce B2B Commerce can handle out of the box, the 6Street team, having worked with so many B2B Commerce implementations, knew exactly what to do. The core functionality of the effective account feature was modified to handle this unique relationship to match the business processes of Avery Dennison.

Avery Dennison also had the goal to create a new Wishlist functionality that was again unique to their core business and did not fall into the out-of-the-box Wishlist feature set of Salesforce B2B Commerce. 6Street worked closely with Avery Dennison's project team to understand their requirements and extended the out-of-the-box Wishlist functionality in multiple storefronts and created new wishlist functionality in one storefront with automated inventory monitoring and customer email updates.

The suppliers of Avery Dennison needed to have a robust reporting system to track the products and orders they were getting on the site. The project team did not want to manually create customer-facing reports every time they had a supplier that had a unique reporting requirement. Unfortunately, Salesforce Report Builder is not available to customer-facing apps such as in B2B Commerce. 6Street embraced this technical challenge and built a custom report builder that extends the power of the Salesforce Report Builder and provides the functionality to suppliers without the need of manual report creation or expensive licenses.
